"Art Connections V" call for entries

A Call for Artists

The George Segal Gallery presents "Art Connections 5" and invites artists to display their work
Montclair State University’s George Segal Gallery is once again sponsoring Art Connections, its annual fund-raising art exhibit, from January 15 to February 15, 2009, and invites artists to submit works for display and sale. Now in its fifth year, Art Connections has grown from a regional exhibit to one of national scope and offers artists an excellent opportunity for exposure and sales of their works.
Past Art Connections exhibits have featured works by noted artists such as ceramist Toshiko Takaeshu; painters Julie Hefferman, Bisa Washington, Ben Jones and Cora Cohen; and sculptor Willie Cole. Proceeds from the event support exhibitions at the George Segal Gallery and care of the University’s permanent collection.
The deadline for submissions is September 16, 2008 and an online brochure with full information about the event as well as entry procedures and requirements is available here.
Information about the George Segal Gallery is available here.
